If I didn't know what it's like to work here and tried to learn about the company just by reading these posts, I would probably come to a conclusion that there is no valid reason for anyone to work here at all. My opinion is that this is a kind of paradise for slackers and nowhere would they have it as good as they do here because there is always someone who will pick up their slack. You agree?

Not slacking. Climbing a telephone pole is hard work. Especially us older folk who need time to recover from climbing.
T creates slackers. Most people don't take a job with the thought they will end up slacking. Slacking is a coping mechanism for leadership decisions, mandates like RTO/Relo, and inexplicable promotions (Usually rooted in favoritism or nepotism) that make possibilities of career progression bleak. Even non-slackers understand this. In my experience, the only reason people don't slack in this environment is because they don't want to create more work/headaches for their teammates. While likely rare - In terms of non-union teams, show me a team without any slackers, and I'll show you a cohesive team that works well together and maybe an adept L2/L3 leader.
How can you learn about a company by reading this post? It is like you are trying to describe a person by just tasting his sht. You are truly fng stupid d-mb.
Sorry OP, I don't t agree because your statement is contradictory. A company full of slackers where someone always picking up someone else's slack? How does that work in your mind? Doesn't it mean that maybe there are some slackers, sure, but also many hard workers that routinely do extra work for the good of the organization? Just like everywhere else.

Listen up, cats and kittens, this morale needs to change. For gosh sakes, we invented the touch tone telephone, didn’t we? We can find a way to beat this mo’fo and take back our company from the brink.
The equipment didn’t put itself in. I put it in. Those fiber ckts didn’t wire themselves I did. The generators didn’t fix themselves. I fixed them. I could go on and on all the overtime all the night work. It’s been 25 years of plenty of work. I’ve moved on to a desk job and I hear it’s slow but no. We who work as technicians have worked hard over the years.
