With the exception of one post that has reached 1800, a high number of views is 1200. So many with far fewer views. Why is this the case - so few know about the site?

Study statistics. 1200 people is a perfectly valid sample size for solid confidence intervals on metrics. What you are seeing here is going to be slightly skewed to the negative, but largely representative of how the L1/L2 and craft feel.

I don't think people are making stuff up. They shared what they knew and that's valuable for other people to gain some insight. You can draw your own conclusions, but there's no need to accuse others of making stuff up.
Then where is the more popular rumor page?
Exactly the problem - it would be so much more helpful if people supported what they post instead of making stuff up. For example the number of times I have read “we have been asked to move” - which at this point nobody has been asked to relocate as a result of the RTO. State the facts.
The point is there is a very small number of people actually posting and like I mentioned in another post almost nobody has visibility beyond their immediate group and they post info based on what they see locally as if it is going to happen across the board. Furthermore by the repetitive nature of posts (and common tone) across different threads there is a much smaller number posting the same nonsense over and over.
All this to say, there really is not much inside information being posted, just folks blowing off steam and stirring up the pot.
