I’m hearing from people that they had lots of stuff come up missing from their offices and cubes when they were told during Covid that they couldn’t enter the offices to retrieve them. Any truth to this? And

My campus has two buildings, and I was notified that one of them was closing for renovations- the day they closed.
I couldn’t get there to get my stuff out of the drawers so lost a few things.
Wells is full of incompetent people.
Has anyone (most likely that has left) considered filing a P**** report for missing items? I know who the PMs were in charge of this. I could put their name on it.
COVID has officially become "the good old days" at this point. WFH, gas prices were good, skur'd people stayed away from you...yeah, it was pretty nice. On the other hand, it also created an excuse for "return" to office (I was remote for years before COVID), and there was the whole rouge government thing and mandates. Still, WFH, so, good times.
100%! I lost everything. I reached out multiple times and nobody could find my stuff. I left medical supplies, pumping supplies, a pump, make up, extra clothing, shoes in my desk. Over $1000 worth of stuff. It was all locked in my drawer. I contacted so many people when we shut down and they assured me my stuff would be returned. And contacted them once we returned. I highly suspect my stuff was stolen. I was basically told you are sh*t out of luck.
It was all a box of WF sh&t. Who cares!
The people in Corporate Real Estate planning should be fired. Worst execution ever.
Why they didn’t all people to schedule times for each section of a building to come in to retrieve your stuff I’ll never know. Of course things “went missing” either by the people who packed the boxes or the people looking through boxes for their own stuff.
The building I’m in now has conference rooms stacked to the gills with boxes of whatever was in/on the desks before Covid shutdown. Some have names, some have cube numbers some have nothing. The mail station is just as bad. The first few weeks back you could barely walk through the hall it was in. Headset boxes stacked 15 high with a half dozen rows. FedEx packages with people’s names that left the place. Just junk everywhere!
Many buildings were restacked during Covid so even the boxes that are still around have little, if any, relation to the desk they were in at this point.
I lucked out and knew someone who was allowed to work in the office during Covid grabbed my box and brought it to me. If he hadn’t done that I don’t think I would have seen my stuff again. I’m not even in the same building from before Covid.
Yup, I was one of them in Hudson Yards. Every last item was removed from my desk, including an external business award that clearly bore my name. As per WF usual, there is no official escalation channel except to contact your manager. Current manager tried their best but was essentially ghosted.
WF employees can't give you a red anyway, by policy. We just refer any caller to theworknunber.com, and all they give up is start date, end date, and job title.
Seeing how cr*p was left in the building I’m not surprised. And I don’t necessarily blame anyone directly related to the packing and care of peoples junk. If it truly was important people should have gone in and picked it up themselves. I see boxes of junk sitting around from Home Lending casualties and it looks like piles of trash that hasn’t been authorized to be thrown away.
I have lost my entire box with stuff.
Filled out forms indicating where my "stuff" was. Left the bank and was promised my things would be sent. They never were. Escalated it & still never got my things. Typical WF. They can't even send a box of personal effects. Manager was p-------d it got escalated. Had to strike her off my reference list. You know WF managers, anything that makes them lose face is cause for vindictiveness.
