If you recently got laid off from WF and are discouraged, please don’t be. It is a blessing in disguise. I was laid off from WFHM earlier in the year, I knew I was being underpaid but was never gonna leave anyway. Am glad WF pushed me out. Charles Schwab took me in which gave me an almost 20% salary increment: it would have taken me at least 5yrs to attain that salary at WF. I have been with Schwab for a couple of months now and I might be drawing an early conclusion, but compared to WF, it is daylight and darkness. They truly care for their workers, the culture is amazing. Management at every level is accessible and they will truly come around you and support you to succeed. Thank you for laying me off WF, it was the blessing I needed.

Oh wait. That's the WF version. Not that "Charles" would agree. He's made it clear he still thinks, nearly 4 years later, that everything bad about WF is what he inherited, not anything he and his stellar leaders have done.
