Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

inept leadership of randall stephenson and now Stankey

Thanks to the inept leadership of randall stephenson and now Stankey, AT&T pi---d away $5 billion on a failed merger attempt with T-mo, $49 billion on a failed direct TV acquisition, $85 billion on a failed acquisition of Time Warner.. but sure, the problem is remote working.

I sincerely hope the company goes bankrupt (AGAIN). Unfortunately, its the employees who will get hurt. the inept and corrupt leadership will do just fine with their golden parachute severance packages.

you've had a long time to leave also since the t Mobile debacle, but staid instead knowing what you were in for.

All that T-Mobile increase in market cap was a result of the cash infusion and spectrum ATT forfeited to them. That $6 B in cash and spectrum ultimately cost ATT and VZ shareholders at least $125B.

I think the OP is just pointing out this is a pattern of terrible business decisions by the same leadership over and over.

the 5 billion to t mobile is old news. it was more then paid for with one mass layoffs years ago.
