in business schools all over the country on how not to manage a telecom company as well as screwing their employees that signed up expecting certain benefits only to realize that years later will have the rug pulled out from under them. Such a brutal, under-handed, conniving, low level business model. I don't see T being able to ever recruit any real talent to work for this company in the future!

They won't use this is a case study because it would go against what all the MBA schools have been teaching over the years how to run a company by excessively cutting costs, customer service, outsourcing, and laying off people to keep the stock price up. These schools will finally realize they have just been teaching cr-p all along and it would be bad for their business.
Seriously a movie needs to be created. Focus needs to be placed on the board and Stank, the man who knows everything about everything. I believe public humiliation may be what it takes for a change in the board and senior leadership. There is a lot of existing material, remember stank in his pajamas trying to talk down to employees.
I volunteer to contribute to this case study. Could be fun and cathartic.
Indeed AT&T's epic failures will be studied, many parallels to to Eastman Kodak who thought digital photography would never take off. I am truly ashamed of those who claim to be our leaders and have destroyed this company.
A number of companies have been scaling back on pension and insurance benefits. T is not alone.
