Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This will cost T good managers

I don't expect many good managers to let themselves be played with this way. They'll leave and we'll be stuck with even more incompetent narcissists who have been instrumental in eroding the culture at T. I'm not looking forward to what's about to happen for many reasons, but this is one of the major ones.

Yup. And some of those managers are the only ones keeping some systems running, so expect some ish to break with no one able to fix it.

They don’t care about the employees, good or bad. If it makes you feel any better, T hates their customers more than their employees.

Leadership knows most of us will stay to the end out of fear of the unknown. I should have left a long time ago but got too comfortable and didn’t keep up my skills. I’m stuck.

It is like a train wreck for most of us. I want to leave, but I feel strongly about staying and watching the whole thing happen.
