I find it hysterical we are having a possibility rally highlighting the power of connectivity and connecting people around the globe. Literally gave an example of a family who has family in many different states and they’re able to connect in real time and build lasting relationships. However, AT&T is forcing their many in there workforce to basically move or leave the company because we need to be in person to collaborate. Not surprised at the hypocrisy though.

Tin can and string is actually still remote :) That's giving too much credit to RTO.
It's more like, "Hey, come collaborate with me! Drive in for 90 minutes, find parking, and then meet me in the school cafeteria. I'll be at table 6 at the end near the water fountain. Don't forget your laptop!"
I tuned in. I figured my one viewer link vote of confidence would not be as useful or important as understanding what messaging is going out there, what tea leaves might be read from this. Conclusions:
- entirely Dallas centric. Appropriate for "Dallas Regional Telecomm," but not the legendary company that connected the coasts and buried cable across the Atlantic. Ironic that someone remote in NJ won the golf bag (and yes, an office worker in NJ is still remote from TX).
- a video wall of people working from home? Really? Did the producers read the room? Or at least the Stankey and Legg memos?
- embarrassing but not surprising to see sales manager pressed into duty as a broadcast host only to forget to turn on his mic for 30 seconds.
- how much do these things cost? Who watches them? Any measure of how they actually improve productivity, as opposed to, say, eliminating a 2 hour commute?

Stankey is clueless on RTO again. Another stupid move like buying DTV, WarnerMedia and trying to buy T-Mobile. Losing money on all of it. Collaborating in the office is outdated and many don't work with others in their office. Let the managers manage their staffs and Stankey needs to focus on getting the stock price up as he is a miserable failure so far (from $25 down to $16)!! You don't grow a business by telling people where to do their job when they are currently doing it well. That UCLA business degree he got is worthless.
You shouldn't have attended. They need to start feeling the disengagement.

That is funny. I actually asked if we were going to stop using collaboration tools to my boss, to which I received a half smile. The short answer is that everyone, at least to 5th level, is shaking their heads over the degree of anxiety caused by the shortsightedness of our C-Levels.

Play chess with Grandpa but can't use Teams and Webcam to work together? Selling connectivity but in order to work together use the tin cans and string. I am thinking stock could go single digits at this point with cr--ker Jack's like these.
