The executive leadership team has lost it's way. A bunch of cowards at the helm, overseeing a sinking ship. Don't worry, they will be fine. The rest of us are not their problem..
It's a terrible culture at this bank. You are not alone. When I read about new people interviewing for positions, I always feel sorry for them. They have no idea how poor the culture is.
