AT&T has contractors on payroll who were previously let go for performance but technically we’re “eligible for rehire” at time if term.
It eh company is going to keep contractors, they should at least check who is a former employee and why they were let go. But instead, we bring people back and they are silently angry rebelling by milking the company and mocking T by getting a check for doing nothing or conducting sabatage.

“COBC violation.”
My name is John Stankey, come at me bro!
Don’t worry. The number of employees will increase since every US person that will be eliminated via RTO can be replaced by 8 employees in India and it will not stress the payroll. They are scaling up operations in India.

COBC violation.
Surprised the contractor number isn’t much HIGHER!
Since the company doesn’t have to pay contractors healthcare, pension, etc.

Total headcount as of today:
152,857.
Total AT&T employee headcount:
129,267.
Total “contractor” title on payroll today:
23,590.
Contractor = 15.43%

Many contractors were told they could become badged employees. Given this latest news it was probably a lie & why would anyone even want to become one ?
If you are an EMPLOYEE, you can easily find out through WebPhone since NPWs are identified, and you can filter on this to get the total.
Why
No. Nobody knows those numbers, certainly not anyone here at least.
WHO CARES?
