Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Is it worth.....

Trying to fight Stankey on this new RTO policy? If we all come together and present a united front, we could possibly win. I would like to see him walk back his RTO policy.

Send a message to Stankey with an ultimatum. He changes his mind and allows you to WFH or you will resign and refuse any severance.

Send him an email and let him know how you feel. Stankey is a reasonable man. He listened when we told him to refocus on communication.

For most at&t employees, this is the beginning of the end! You heard it here first.

Also for those who are unable to move and will lose your job, you know the time line!

Start using your paid sick days, caregiver leave…

If you must report to the office beginning July 10 or be terminated, exhaust all the stupid benefits to delay loss of pay and make sure the company shares in a portion of your pain.

Organize and get thousands to take the same week of caregiver leave.

Per policy you all get paid. Per HIPPA the company can’t ask about the medical reason.

Use the tools they gave you.

Maybe this is last attempt to save this ship before company goes bankrupt? Stinky is desperado. Hopefully this will lead to the end of his tenure here and the board will be fed up with him.

Yes that is a great idea. That would make the culling of the herd so much easier to do. Better yet send an email directly to the top. He loves to hear from those that think out of the box.

No. This company is now way beyond desperate. This is not logic. This is outright existential hail mary pass for this company. Ma bell could indeed die in next 10 years, and be chopped up for body parts to sell. You don't easily just negotiate such risk away.

No, Karen. You are expected back in the office. Please reread the updated policy.
