Why is Stankey so arrogant and nasty? He missed his calling, he was never cut out for CEO work!

wow. Only a BA??!?
birds gotta fly….
managers were sifted from birth as those who tell others what to do to avoid doing anything themselves .
you meant Stank the guy that claim his expertise surpasses everyone else's in any room yet we have never heard or seen him coding a simple web site, create a database, or come up with a new encryption algorithm, let alone crank out an award winning app overnight while in his pajamas?
his claim to glory is full of stories of overpaying for acquisitions for decades, fail to integrate them and finally selling them for pennies on the dollar, while leaving a debt trail of thousands of laid off workers and billions of dollars in ever costlier debt.
What’s a pillow biter?
Big talkers in an anonymous forum. If Stanky knew who you were, you would be on your knees begging for mercy. Begging.
Whiner gonna whine. Waah!
Are you somehow trying to imply that Jeremy Legg is a paper tiger?
As the talking heads might say: How did he get here?
The relocation package included paying for everything on your own dime, buying a more expensive home and paying more that double what the interest rate was a couple of years ago. And if you don’t accept this “generous” offer, you will me let go with no severance.
Generous relocation packages!
Jeremy Legg the CTO earned only a Bachelor of Arts and is not qualify to manage any Technology company, Bell is turning in his grave.
Jeremy never took a science class or calculus or physics, and he just discovered "fiber", does he mean "optical magic".
Lol, that’s a pretty good term for the old stankmeister.
“ Just curious if this applies to consumer side of the house too as most of them just went fully virtual the past 6 months….”
All the separate, local policies and employee codes previously in place for rogue towers/orgs is going away. Stanley’s policy is the new standard to be implemented across the board.
Narcissism isn't a qualification to be CEO! It's an attribute of self-absorbed people that think they can do no wrong! Unfortunately for John, his list of wrongs is far longer than his list of rights!
Just curious if this applies to consumer side of the house too as most of them just went fully virtual the past 6 months….
"Stankey is turning the company around. Paying down debt. Right sizing the workforce. Focusing on mobile and fiber."
Even if this were true - it's a little too little too late. Additionally, Stank reminds me of the "Nurse" (on Netflix) who would purposely send patients with non-life threatening illnesses into cardiac arrest so she could be a hero and save them. After 20+ some odd deaths, they finally caught on to her. In Stank's case heroic decisions he and his predecessor made over years caused the debt, and their revival attempts won't be successful.
Oh no, another Stankey bobblehead.
Stankey is turning the company around. Paying down debt. Right sizing the workforce. Focusing on mobile and fiber.
Stankey is the next Bernie Ebbers!
Why is he doing that? Because he can. Or at least he thinks he can. This will be another disaster for T. Next step is to close US locations and move everything to India.
I agree he is more than qualified to be a CEO based on those attributes. The funny thing is that he is and always will be a reactive follower to trends and will try to outdo the likes of Elon in hopes of adding another 0 or 2 to his net worth. The real question is why is he still at the helm? I hold very little T stock and outside of the reduced dividend, I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would invest another dime in the company.
when the WFH are replaced with people that want a job things will head upward for the company as a whole
What is this based on? Wanting to optimize productivity by having employees work together?
Um, I would say that being arrogant and nasty are two of the four main qualifications for being a CEO. The third is being a serial liar, and the fourth is having an uncontrolled ego.
I mean, look at Elon Musk. He and Stink are basically carbon copies of each other in terms of arrogance, nastiness, egotistical, and mendacious.
So Stink is actually perfectly suited to run T.
