If you don’t agree to follow your work to Dallas will you get severance? I have heard you won’t.

No severance. Just a swift kick in the @ss on your way out the door.
I thought there is a provision in the management severance plan about the max distance one would be required to travel for a new assignment (not online to search it now) versus being eligible for severance. I could be mixing that up with one of the rules in place when someone is surplused and offered another opportunity in the company.
No severance. You would likely qualify for unemll pool oymemt. Your job didn’t go away. You would have just decided to leave it.
You will get severance and separation bonus too.
What you describe is a voluntary separation offer where T would ask people that no longer want a job to volunteer to leave with severance. This is not that.
