Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

“If you are not meeting your RTO designation, you will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination”

Meaning, if you are told to be in the office 3-5 days per week and you don’t comply, you can be fired. (No severance) This is noted in the FAQ and the new How/where we work policy. From your work VPN you can read more at this link. Most of it was identical to Stankey’s email but there were some other good tidbits, and a link to the official policy. https://www.e-access.att.com/corpcomm/assets/email/how-and-where-we-work-faqs.pdf

The FAQ is most certainly eye-opening. I wasn’t all that concerned by the email but the FAQ was like… woah.

I mean, duh. Thanks, I guess, for copying/pasting what we already saw in the email and supporting site.

"Worst thing is getting to the f***ng office but eventually still get laid-off"

Happened this year to a former colleague.

Makes it easier to retrieve the Laptops and Monitors.
