Nobody cares about 2008. That is ancient history. Activity and rigs are short term.
@yvo, take a look at https://www.macrotrends.net/2478/natural-gas-prices-historical-chart. You will see that natural gas prices have been in a long-term decline since 2008. Oversupply due to fracking.
No, prices were $9 last August. Now $2. Historically they have been around $3/mmcf
Gas prices have been "down" for 15 years now. Oversupply, pure and simple.
