Easiest path is to wage war on the employees. I can't believe I work for a company that is so d-mb. You know this RTO move will do wonders for morale and productivity.

Just give me my damn layoff notice so I can put all of this nonsense behind me! I hope and pray that there will be some news on this site about my job title going through a downsizing. Each and every day, I'm disappointed, unfortunately!
Lol, this company cares about morale as much as they do ethics, which is not at all.
Seriously, the fact that people even still talk about "morale" is amusing. It's ridiculous. You have to at least give somewhat of a sh--e to even be talking about morale. If "morale" was just "bad", at least presumably, a leader that cared in the slightest (and I haven't seen any in about a decade) could take some steps to try and improve it.
The thing is, this workforce is just so beaten down and tired of the non -stop workforce reductions, reorganizations, hostile "if you don't like it then leave" attitude...nobody give a flying flip about "morale".
It's called APATHY. Look it up. No one cares about anything or anyone, just that the paycheck keeps coming. And it seems like even that may get a little dicey.

It is a war... a war of attrition. Company is still looking to cut as much cost as possible, and employees are the easiest target. Make working conditions intolerable, and "encourage" people to leave on their own without surplus costs.
