Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo needs Elon Musk at the helm to fix corporate risk

As a shareholder Charlie has been incredibly disappointing with the low amount of layoffs.

Was just reading how Elon cut 80% of twitter

We need that here desperately. I had a simple ask recently and had to fill out 3 forms and deal with 5 teams and am still waiting 3 weeks later.

Corporate Risk is so bloated and riddled with red tape that it has come to a grinding halt

We need massive layoffs in corporate risk

I'm was ok with putting anyone in charge instead of a lying, cheating, gritfing, narcissistic, racist, incompetent, misogynistic, tax evading, crooked, sloppy, fat, ugly 239lb pile of orange shilt.

How come you think you'd be among the surviving 20%? Sounds like you just push paper and fill out requests. And still have time to troll on sketchy layoff boards.

Wake up! The only reason for the red tape is because WF front line was allowed to operate with little to no corporate risk oversight, hence the regulatory matters that WF is still trying to solve. Slashing corporate risk wouldn’t look good until those matters are behind WF.

Ps- I’m guessing you don’t use Twitter because you clearly think it’s still functioning well…

It is a dangerous game to put anyone on a pedestal including yourself.

A dangerous game to put people like Musk on a pedestal and glorify erratic use of money and influence.

Musk only bought twitter because a judge was going to order him to. Don't believe me? Read his recent BBC article.

Oh, and FWIW, Twitter doesn't exist as a company anymore. It was merged into a new corporation for some accounting shenanigans.

unlike Twitter many millions of people rely on WF for their financial needs, if you cut 80% of the workforce at once it would have a negative effect on more than just the company. that isn't to say there isn't plenty of excess fat, we just need to be very strategic about it. probably also why they don't offer voluntary layoffs because too many people would cut and run.

You know why? Because the gov't for all purposes runs the bank.
