The damn thing signs itself out after 5 minutes and I'm constantly having to log back in. Huge pain in the a-s. Any tricks to keep the computer from locking?

Its intentional rule to lock screen after fifteen minutes, to prevent someone else using your computer. No need to get fancy, just drop a book against the space bar so its continuously pressed, and it won't lock
Get a tiny mouse, and a big clock with hands and place the tiny mouse on the clock and every time the second hand goes around the mouse moves 1 pixel, you can be gone for hours, LOL been doing this for years here at Wells!!!
Haven’t had this issue with VDI. In fact, it has been really smooth and good for me. I’m still not buying my own damn laptop.
it auto locks in 15 minutes if no activity is detected, just smash your head into the keyboard every so often and you'll be good to go
I get locked out and require password even when I am in the middle of a video call on Teams. I can only imagine how I look when the screen goes black and I scramble to type back in my password 😃. Hilarious!
I've been holding Skype meetings and presenting to myself for years now
@frv+1m67Mwhm Winner winner. I present a blank spreadsheet even when I’m working to keep people from constantly pinging me about nonsense. Efficiency hack.
@frv+1m67Mwhm oooo..sneaky!!!
Start a Teams meeting with yourself.
Is this VDI issue related to delayed layoffs? Because if it is, there are probably numerous tech people here who'd help you in an instant.
I'm sure it's by design--so they can tell if you left your desk hours ago, and don't just "appear" to be working.
@nqe+1m67Mwhm are you suggesting there is an actual setting to keep it from timing out?
mine doesn't log me out at all.. call in a ticket.. they may need to adjust the settings
I was told by a field tech there is not a way to stop the time out..... it's part of the design?
Maybe you made an enemy of someone in tech and they are signing you out
check with tech support or post on am anonymous layoff board, I'll take option e
Mine doesn’t do that. Call in a ticket
