RCSA NIGHTMARE PART 2

My division was going through a re-organization so I volunteered for RCSA because I knew some displacement waves were on the way and I was SOC7 out of my role the previous year. I have been with the bank 16 years. I am dealing with co--y 40 and under Risk Officers having been with the bank less than 3 years. Their life is work and their work is life. I am their action item and meeting minutes bi--h. Utter disorganization and Failed workshops. The RCSA owners are pretty cool and learning a lot about their organizations. I have traveled to various locations with these facilitators and they are not interested in getting to know me as they have their own little risk officer clique. The PwC resources are nothing special to boot. We are wasting a fortune having highly paid children facilitating RCSA. If you want people who make almost 200K taking meeting minutes awesome, but I think we can find local candidates on contract at a bill rate of 90/hr. Those resources would get about 50-60/hr and that saves the bank much more money for note takers. Figure it out Wells Fargo. And not to the risk officer team, you all are not that special...try cutting back on the free food and drinks and you might feel better about yourselves.

I agree with the statements above on saving money by using cheaper/local resources. However, this project is way bigger than a few people at a local office. This project entails 13 groups in various cities, over 300 rau's, deadlines, and a lot of logistical issues. From the 30,000ft view, it is not the work that is the issue, but more of a program management nightmare trying to resolve all risks on a tight schedule. Sure, WF could do all of this internally and figure out how to plug in resources to get this done. However, we know that is not going to happen. It's easier to higher a consultant, then the consultant charges whatever they want to charge.

RCSA= being sent to the WWII Russian front. Source my youth watching Hogan's Heroes. I am hoping to escape out through the Dog house, or water barrel once Schultz is distracted with RCSA and RTO.

The "firm" (I lol everytime we are called that) who can not even get people to return to the office, is a failure. Chuckles and the JPM C-suite are all failures. Noone else wanted to lead this "firm" or work with this Board. All failures.

Surprisingly, RCSA is also a failure. We are in what? Third or fourth iteration? Chuckles wanted to get rid of it and the government said no.

RCSA is here to stay! That should be our new slogan!

Wells has always hired consultants for this type of work and it's amazing how much we pay them. Sometimes they are hired just to confirm what we already knew. It's always been a head scratcher.

Perpetual BS, and with this exec team that is certainly here to stay.

This nightmare has a little bit of everything! Jealousy over other peoples money, ageism, complaining about people with stronger work ethic.

RCSA is here to stay. There is no finishing it. It’s perpetual.
