Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WFC was trading at $48/share when Charlie took over

It’s at $43 today. Peers like BofA and JPM have seen a gain in their share prices in that period.

Still no end in sight for the asset cap, various consent orders, etc. Decimated the best mortgage business in the nation.

But we’ve spent hundreds of millions on DEI staff and hired half of JPM’s middle/upper management so I guess that counts for something?

Im still not tired of winning

As----e Charlie doesn't give one sh-t about stock price, only his paycheck. All this diversity and inclusion is Corporate BS

Outsourcing to a Country with a caste system
Where's the diversity there. Guess every once in awhile they hire a Pakistani.

Why anyone invests in WF is beyond me, there is no possibility of success so long as the current failed NYC regime is in power.

Well at least WFC is not a Silvergate. You should cash out of your bonus asap/
WFC will hit a sub 35 handle before a 50. 2.7% yield on the common is nothing. Most of the preferreds have lost >10% in price since Feb. Lots better places for growth and income investing IMO

Op is spot on. add that Schart and his OC minions are paid higher than the other execs at peer banks as well. It’s all collusion by the BOD.

You gotta make a decision as a coaching staff to decide what you have in justin fields. Get orlando brown. Rebuild the line. Set up justin for the draft in april.

Just had a chat with my FA about how to dump this stock. I’ve been holding out for $60 but it’s just a dog. I’d rather move my money to something with better prospects. I bought back when it was lower than now so no loss but not as much gain as there should have been by now.

The new management has been a total dud.

JPM and BAC both have much better profit margins, much stronger operating margin, better return on assets, better return on equity. JPM pays double Wells dividend too.
