Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Attrition is at a critical point

The attrition has become so bad that even the worst of the worst employees are resigning for what they see as more favorable job opportunities. Things are so freaking bad here that a person who barely puts in 3 to 4 hours of work daily would opt for better prospects elsewhere. How is that even possible?

I suspected, but now you confirmed that you're a typical lunatic liberal whacko leftist that enjoys paying high prices for gas, food, utilities and higher taxes and thinks Buck Fiben is the ultimate answer to America's problems! Good luck with that! I'm ready to retire, but I feel sorry for the working class moving forward!

Hey Maynard
This is a forum about layoffs not a platform for your petty resentments and grievances because you hate your job but lack the courage and undoubtedly the qualifications to find another job somewhere else. Grow up and take that 'I don't like the fed government' because your criminal candidate loss back to your cave.

"This is by design, reorg moved some into a new group and wow what a $h#t show. Leadership spends meetings talking about themselves and then telling others what they need to do, but no real action to solve the immediate issues created as a result of the move- no systems access no data just a big ole spreadsheet with customer names it’s like let’s not pay a severance let’s move them over here and we can pip them out of the org when they don’t meet the metrics or they’ll just leave on their own because we’ve set them up for failure"

This happens all the time at the cesspool

What did you think when coming to this website, it's full of inflammatory and provocative comments! If you can't handle the heat, you probably need to visit some religious website where everyone is presumably on their best behavior which you most certainly won't find here! Get over it, Francis!

More opportunities for growth and advancement, more money, better benefits are all reasons for attrition currently because there are a ton of job opportunities for qualified people. ATT has also loss a lot of people through retirement over the 5 years. But the goal since 2014 was to reduce headcount by at least 40%.
Of course, layoffs has added to the overall goal to streamline the number of employees.

This is what stank and rand want. They want a revolving door and then keep the supposedly experts lol. Can’t say that with a straight face. Att is a cesspool and I hope anybody thinking of working there run far far away. Att likes employees who think they are experts in their own mind and never admit they sc--w up even if you put it right in front of their face.

Well, respect is earned, not granted. They’ve got a lot of work to do if they want to be respected. That’s unless they don’t care about high employee turnover like your typical gas station or fast food joint.
