Seeking first person awareness of retirement severance being offered. Not interested in the speculative responses so prevalent in this forum. Very simple question to help someone make a decision. Do you have direct awareness of anyone receiving a retirement severance package in the recent couple of months and if so was it in ops, tech, or a line of business? Please use another thread to pontificate on your opinions of the current business climate etc, just looking for a sample of any actual awareness of recent actions.

No incentive out there in recent months. A colleague in Boston with more than 24 yrs of service inquired in late 2022. No severance package, no incentive to retire now versus a later date. HR was quick to point out checking account benefit for bank retires 😏.
