I have been out for a while. When I left tech was working hard to replace Core -- but very slowly. There was a post on here speculating that Core could be replace with BKI Empower. ICE is trying to buy BKI and need to dump its loan origination system Empower. Cause this post was taken down... why? A purchase would cause mega change in what remains of the tech.

I highly doubt they will not get rid of core. It took over 10 years to get it working with a massive back log of work. Too many downstream impacts as well. They can’t even get rid of our acquired originating systems.
I heard the project to replace it was called Northstar but that was a few years ago... wondering if it was scrapped. Another one of Fercho's failures and probably millions down the drain.
It took 10+ years + a massive financial investment to get it up and running in the first place. I don't see them replacing it.

The CORE app seems to be getting bigger and bigger. At least if you look at the Core User form in ART.
