Don't the technicians feel guilty about only completing one job per day?

Are you kidding me! Not only no, I don't feel guilty, but H3ll NO, not not bit! After giving it my all for years and years putting AT&T before my own personal life, now it's time to reap the benefits all I can! I'm quite certain T is aware of the monthly PRODUCTIVITY metric each technician has. If it's very low, it's certainly not the technicians fault since it's not up to them to produce work. The company usually provides it through sales of products and services!

Is this some kind of sick joke? Don't the technicians feel guilty about only completing one job per day? I know I would feel like a cheat, collecting full pay for less than part time work. How can at&t possibly survive? Does Stankey know about this? If so, shame on him, wake up Stankey!

Our technicians are working one order per day per tech and relaxing for the remainder of the day once the order is completed. Yet, managers act like none of that matters and that the business unit is still in a growth mode and doing well. How long can T sustain this business model paying technicians full time pay to work a part time job? I don't see how any of this makes sense!

Service orders are the growth. We have none.

Layoffs occur every single month of every single year. This is just stupid.

3rd quarter rumor...are you kidding? There will be a layoff in every quarter until the desired amount of employees is achieved! I believe at some point ABFS will be spun off and then contracted back to AT&T to do the work for T. This might take a few years once all the T services are in place for all states. Then, T won't need as many technicians and can sell off that business unit for a nice profit and have it do the work for a number of years., thus, saving a boatload of cash!

Going forward, layoffs will occur quarterly. At&t is in big trouble, they are hemoraging cash, it outta control.

If the business remains as slow as it currently is, then I just might stick around for another quarter or 2. Hey, why not, when it's easy, basically money for nothing! If T can't figure this out, then it's on them!

Just realize this will never end at this firm, then we retire, then we die. Thats life.

No work. What do you expect? Economy sucks so it is a perfect time/excuse to let people go. Sorry to hurt your feelings.

I visit this page after read the National Enquirer, but it’s getting to the point for just complete and total stupidity.

I can’t imagine wasting my life worrying about what AT&T might or might not do or what vague rumor you’ve heard. Just pis on it and find another job. Or get a hobby. I don’t know. But wtf are you doing with your life dudes?

T is targeting layoffs every quarter this year. They have to increase cash flow.
