Thats why we are in the FIELD. We work independently, no boss around never ever. So if you Want the same indecency, why would you Take a Field job a go sweat and actually work??? Your office or WFH “job” is not a REAL job. You are just expendable support for At&t. Get it!

Hate to burst your bubble but I started with this company as a Prem Tech. I know exactly what it is like and I know that supervisors come out and watch you work occasionally. I worked my way up the ladder and I do a damn good job. I also work just as hard at home as I did at the office. My point was your work ethic doesn’t change depending on where you are working. Also no one in my work group reports to the same office as me. So what good is going in to the office. If you don’t want to work on the field anymore then apply. I did not know anyone at the company when I started and I worked my way up while getting my masters degree. Anyone can if they work for it.

“For the field workers complaining about work from home - are you more productive when your boss is staring over your shoulder? If you are the you’re the problem!”

Return to the office has nothing to do with productivity. Office real estate is collapsing because there is no demand for it. So management is trying to justify the office space by forcing people to return to the office. It’s all about money and reputation! For the field workers complaining about work from home - are you more productive when your boss is staring over your shoulder? If you are the you’re the problem!

God, all you people do is whine. Go back to work. Lazy group I’ve ever seen in my life! This is absurd! Yes- working from home is nice, but if you all didn’t milk it so much and drop productivity, you could have kept it. You think employers want to pay for facilities? If they were so greedy, wouldn’t it make more sense to sell off all the assets as much as possible for lower OPEX and higher profit? GTFOH. If you all would have done your jobs, this wouldn’t have happened. Now you want to cry about it? Your entitlement is showing… get back to office and do some work.

Although randy said it a few years ago publicly, so that fact itself makes it very possibly incorrect- software will run way over 1/2 the att network in near future. Call that whatever you want, AI or bs or trash talk or whatever, but just know it means way less humans needed here as time marches forward. Now we just need a stinkey robot that's way smarter than he is, and let the stinkey human version go.

Blah blah blah... OP is not capable or productive enough to work from home, so they think you need to be watched by the boss nanny at the workplace like they are.

AI? Are you trying to say that robots will be taking up all the office space? What is this post supposed to be about?

Current Ai like chat gpt sources the public internet for information. Right? It will not right scripts that merge our multiple systems together and automate processes. That takes money to do that. Sometimes more money than employees cost. Hence it’s gonna take. Awhile.
