depends on your contract with whatever company you work for. check your contract book, it will tell you how to figure your involuntary severance amount.

it is different depending which company you work for and what contract you are under

Enough to pack your cr-p and head for the door as fast as you can to get away from horrible management. All a bunch of id--ts. HR does nothing but sc--w the employees over, management lays off to pay off because they can't figure out a way to make a buck, and employees have no motivation to do anything.

"this seems like another bot post, inserted to get clicks and engagement. Hmmm"

OP is not a bot, just curious what employees from other orgs get if laid off. Best wishes to all.

You won’t receive it until 45 days after you leave and sign the general waiver. So make sure you have some savings to pay the bills until then. They will also take out taxes.

If you are a CWA represented technician you will be eligible to receive either a maximum 45 weeks or 104 weeks severance. However, per many well placed AT&T and CWA contacts, the company is prepared to offer an additional incentive bonus of five years to both age and service plus $5,000. For each year of service. This time next year there will be virtually no technicians with over 30 years on the payroll.

If you are a person of color with integrity and better in metrics than the rest of your team. You need to protect yourself from wrongful termination. Consult with an employment attorney. Watch out for the manager that will try to write you up just to get you out the door.

Check HR Onestop and/or your union contact.

Depends on several things, but a lot of people get 2 weeks per year worked with a maximum of 26 weeks. So if you have worked 15 years you will still get 26 weeks NOT 30.

Union and other contracts may be different.
