Regarding the intended subject of this forum, the bottom line reality is that - on one level or another or to one degree or another - everyone is a one person interest group. We can all blow the brotherly/sisterly smoke, however when it comes right down to getting laid off, we each really only care about ourselves and our severance entitlements. It's merely human nature. It's also seemingly too common as shown on here to anonymously blast others who may have more lucrative termination packages rather than simply being happy for them. Humans are funny and this shallow entertainment is silly for simple minds.

You’re correct. I never claimed to care about you though. Not sure where you got that idea.
I know some folks that jumped on the sword for others on their teams. They were all retirement eligible. Very noble of them. Best I can do is help you find another job by sending you leads or networking. When my day comes, I hope someone will help me find another job.
