Report reps

So I work in the Amarillo office and I have peers who are always absent from work but consistently make posts on social media being on vacation or out at clubs/bars etc. How can I report them and remain anonymous? We had a meeting and were threatened of a surplus because of attendance

you are the perfect candidate to be a manager for ATT, you dont even have to take that class where you are desensitized

Tell their boss. You have no idea why they are out or what they told their direct supervisor.

*67 and call the hotline. Or, create a new yahoo account and send an email to all levels of mgmnt and ethics

Print out the social media posts and place them in a large envelope and mail them to Stankey.

I had to post a complaint once. I was able to contact them from a remote work location. They gave me a case number and it worked like a charm. It was called the ethics hot line back in the days of BellSouth.

WARNING: if you call the anonymous 800 ethics line, the line is also used for non-anonymous reporting. You must request this is anonymous.

Also, the number you call from is recorded. Do not call from your number. My boss was told I reported him. His boss educated me and said I should have contacted him first.

Been with this company a long time! My advice to you is to forget it and mind your own business. Nothing good will come of it!

OP, I’ve seen this situation play out a few times in sales and other center groups. If there has already been a meeting and attendance doesn’t improve rapidly the company will pull the plug on that location. They will move your group/work to another State or offshore. Most won’t move and those that do usually don’t last long at the new location.

The company needs to run a business so they need employees to be on-time, present and productive. Playing the system with chronic FMLA and poor attendance is a quick way to the unemployment line. If you are craft I would suggest you to reach out to your local union VP or President with your concerns also, if your peers are receptive then raise the very real prospect of job loss.

Ignore it. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just worry about yourself. You cannot control what your peers do, don’t do, get away with, etc. Getting upset about it only hurts you. Cheaters gonna cheat, liars gonna lie. And No one likes a tattle tail. Let their supervisor deal with it. In the end they will get what they deserve. If they are calling in sick and going on vacation, and then posting it online, they are pretty d-mb and likely won’t be around too long.

You can anonymously contact Asset Protection. They do investigate people abusing sick time or FMLA. If the co-workers are on vacation and recording vacation days in the system, then there's nothing to complain about.

You better have concrete evidence to back you up or else it is your word against theirs. Could also move you up in seniority if you win.
