IMO ..I wonder if the CEO realizes we started a very similar Mission1 25 years ago and it ended in utter failure. It was so bad we had to rehire the people we let go, sales reps., within a year. Maybe the CEO doesn’t know we’ve tried mega territories and backfilled with merchandisers. I’m sure if their are employees with 25 years experience and are in high positions of mgmt. today that maybe, just maybe…our CEO got fed a bunch of cr-p, swayed by his Cronies, and he bought off on the idea of Mission1 without knowing it ended previously in total failure. His Cronies are alive and well…..watch what your being fed! They may tell you DSD is here to stay but is it? And what does it look like? Harder pay/less incentives at every level? It’s such a BAD sales pitch and there is no TRUST! DSD is here to stay until the DAY they decide it’s not…..I wouldn’t be surprised if the CEO never knew what transpired 25 years ago and it was probably never shared by the Cronies…..GLTA…..it’s going to get rough.

The CEO could care less .. some simp with a college degree and no actual store experience has input numbers into a mainframe and ran an analytical program showing they can get more for less.. no thoughts of real world consequences…
like using CPH as a metric to measure efficiency that’s then tied to a bonus .. this will only lead to sloppy work and poor rotation!
Or thinking everyone doesn’t see they are cutting SRs to push more toward a bunch less seasoned poorly trained Full timers who are working doing the same job a SA was doing with less benefits and less pay..
Sounds like a scene from Good Will Hunting…the CEO gets jousted for failure, gets 100 million payoff while the baby seals with the bats step up and assume position while the new company writes off 500 million in one time expenses for a failed mission1…How ironic.

Yes…it happened like this a long time ago…the people who have been around longest know this to be true. Only time will tell….

I’ve heard this as well….when you look at the last 10 years are bonuses, for reps., have been cut drastically while they tell you everything is better…it’s absurd!
I think there are many people with tenure who feel like this company has sold out…they tell you DSD is here to stay but the implement just the opposite…
