Getting execs to “retire” is the only way to make room for younger less expensive leaders to move up. Trust me, they are not getting rid of the position, just the people.

they got in the cesspool and got their millions and now are leaving the sinking ship.
vps don't care they just take the loot from the company and leave.
Execs think Legg’s org owns all systems and they don’t. double digit millions being spent year over year for Ace tower poles and more … never occurred to anyone that there’s duplicative systems all over - sad people lost jobs bc Accenture gets paid to do all the work.
Wishing all that lost jobs in this org the best.
Good start, AT&T needs to seriously flatten it's hierarchy just a tad bit since it's way too top-heavy! That would save a fortune in annual salaries not to mention get rid of a lot of unnecessary redundancy in the food chain!
meet the new boss, same as the old boss
The VP’s who retired
Kristy Dryden
Jacob Feinstein
Nataly Kremer
Nataly should have been shown the door years ago.
Nataly Kremer (sp?) is leaving or has left as well.
It doesn't matter which of them leaves. There are virtually no visionaries at AT&T because a visionary could never rise up in the ranks of this company. It just isn't that type of company. No innovation really. Just gradually plodding which is why the stock is lower now that it was 20 years ago. The stock market has literally gone up four fold or more in the same time while T has gone down like 20%. T has a great legacy but hasn't been great for the last 40 years.
It’s all good. There are way too many xVPs in Legg’s org. The ones retiring are multi-millionaires and will find their way back to milk for more one way or another.
“2023 will be the known as the year of organizational restructure.”
Nope, every year is that year. T views change as progress…everyone knows it’s isn’t. The longer they can make regular predicatable changes, the longer they can fool the board. Unfortunately, it’s a never ending cycle which leads to the never ending surplus season. Everyone here can count on 90 days of employment, nothing more …ever.
which VP's SVP,AVP,RVP,TVP,DVP,BVP,EVP,UVP ..VP title is a scam of overpaid people.
Probably just an opportunity to get rid of the dinosaurs who are jaded and don't want to change.
They’re just jumping off the Titanic. Nothing to see here.
“Retirement”
This is just the tip of the iceberg for "retirements".... 2023 will be the known as the year of organizational restructure.
Only one I’m aware of is Bill O’hearn who decided to retire and spend time with his family. I’m 100% sure he left on his own, he is revered by leadership and especially those who work for him. That is extremely rare at this company now, he is one that will be missed sorely. Sadly, many many others in leadership cannot make this claim.
Who has left?
