Impacted people will be notified this Friday. The layoff was communicated to employees few months back. This reminds me of the Netflix show squid game. It has been the story of my journey at AT&T. Watching people getting laid off left and right wondering when is my turn.

Freedom day, rid of Stankey, McFresh, Santone, and non stop peddling bs.
It’s called get out of jail and the first day of the rest of your life
I am on vacation. Will I be called if affected!
Not Doom Day.... It's call poor Mangement decisions and a failed M&A strategy Day.
Hard to work when the Axe is behind you all the time. Just keep head down and do what you can.
But sir, why are there layoffs Mr.Stinkey? Our net-gross add for Q4 was Positive. This does not make sense for a company that shows net-growth.
The reality is, it’s capitalism…i.e. Wallstreet. They see money paid to employees as money they should be getting and won’t invest if they feel their share is less than what they expect. So AT&T will continue letting as many go as they can until investors are happy with their take and start investing in AT&T. There are better suckers (oops, meant “investments”) out there right now other than AT&T so that’s where they currently invest.
Don’t the meeting invites get sent out today for the Friday meetings?
Corey is using corporate speak! There is a big bonus for him if he pulls this off without a hitch. He has no conscience. He's got that "can do" attitude when it comes to laying employees off, he's not about to disappoint Stankey and Santone.
On today’s town hall, Corey basically said “ y’all are a big expense…nothing personal. We know this will cripple operations, but what else can we do?”. Pathetic
