My group lost a coworker to suic|de the other day. The execs can do whatever they want, but they can't do it without consequences. RIP.

The most f**ked up thing is how the executives have been dragging layoffs out for 2 years now. Everyone knows more are coming. But there is very little feel for any sort of security, either in knowing you'll be laid off or don't have to worry about it.
Everyone is just left hanging. I've worked with financial services corporations for 24 years and been through many rounds of layoffs.
Only this current crop of executives have been such d**k heads that they have dragged it out. Every other time it was rip the bandaid off and move on.
Read what they are making people do on the RCSA thread. Waking up for offshore times and working into evening to meet offshore schedules. That is so unhealthy for people. The stress this company is causing people right now cannot be emphasized enough. In all of my years here, it is so, so bad right now. stringing people along for months of layoff stress, people afraid to raise issues that are there due to the risk to asset cap, the list goes on and on and on
That’s so awful. Whatever the actual reason they felt that was their only or last option, it’s just completely sad.
Condolences to the family, friends and loved ones.
I had 2 co-workers at WF each suffer from heart attacks due to stress of a horrible manager. They both eventually left. I also left WF for a better career. I am sorry for your loss.
