Jist when someone resigns get it entered into workday in 24 hours.

Not ironic at all how a company notorious for being slow to complete requests is super concerned about how fast we submit things. I'm supposed to jump with a quickness, but for the paper pushers it's always 'please wait 3-5 business days..." or longer. I take care of my business, Bub, it's you that needs to move faster.
If any legacy WB folks remember the CoreStates merger I had the privilege to go up to Philadelphia and tell a group of nine people they were being terminated. They had been getting paid for 11 months with nobody knowing who they were or why they were still there. They were supposed to be let go 11 months earlier when their function moved to CLT. They had built a little area on one of the floors at Plaza with a kitchenet comfy chairs and a TV. Came to work every day like they still had work to do. They told me when they were asked if they could help with something they said they were swamped. They knew I was coming and actually had a little party when I arrived. They said they had a pool for how long they could last, and nobody selected anything close to 11 months. By the way, they still got their severance. HR screwup and former manager had left.
they don't want people who leave still having system access and they don't want to keep paying people
