Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How can I found out my re-hire status?

Left about a year ago.

Is there a department I can call to find out my rehire status?

It depends if you were fired or surplussed. Either way you can come back unless you don’t have a drivers license and fail a dr-g test or backgound check. Standard waiting period if given a buyout to leave. Check your separation papers.

The best way is to put in an application for employment. You will find out real quick.

Rehiring remnants of the past is not one of T’s priorities.

What kind of "sicko" would ever want to return to at&t. Are you insane? At&t is a very toxic ecosystem.

you are nuts if you want to go back. I would seek help for battered spouse syndrome. att does not care about you and I would find a company that respects their employees.

As a management employee you should be shown EFR or not on the exit paperwork that you sign. Alternatively, if you were in craft, your first level manager should let you know if you ask during the exit interview, however there isn’t any paperwork unless you are receiving severance in which case it may restrict you from coming back until after 6 months of your last day.

You would look good in a blue Lowes vest. Do you have any relevant experience? You can work in the appliance department. Do you like selling scratch and dent appliances at a discount?

Nancy Reagan.

JUST SAY NO.

This is your mind on dr-gs. This is your mind on at&t. Terrible idea.

Yes I have to compensate, that's why I ride an electric moped to work or drive that used Smart car. All these poor incels need a shot too, right?

I believe the OP's question was how do I find out my status.

I don't believe his question was related to what your opinion on whether he should come back and work at AT&T.

Some of you seem to treat nasty comments that you make here as a way of making up for some other shortage. You know kind of like they say about people who buy muscle cars. Compensating?

You would look better in a red vest greeting customers at Walmart! Stay in your own lane.

Don’t do it. It’s gotten worse. More problems. More toxic.

Right now with layoffs you can only call Slim and None for any questions.

Just call HROS and ask for your status.

Most are marked rehirable unless you got fired for a code of business conduct violation. Also, as along as you did what your exit manager requested and you didn’t make a scene you were probably marked rehireable.
