Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Layoffs are on their way

Something is definitely coming down too much shuffling going on. Also a lot of the same emails and rules have come out just like in October..Pcard use, hiring freeze, and overtime approval next up furloughs, RIF, and site closures gonna be a bumpy 2023

Yup, be prepared for a trying few months. We've been "lucky" so far this year, but what are the chances of that continuing? Slim to none.

Bring it on. It's the SS Honeywell and Honeywell the Poseidon adventure. First we'll hit an iceberg. Then as we begin to sink. A massive tidal wave will tip us over. There will be no lifeboats to save us.

We're already in upside down company. You can't get lifeboat off. When you're upside down.

Can we get a new Aero CEO, please? Or send him to PR with his Aftermarket puppet.

Run away, just run away as fast as you can. I worked really hard. Now I work really hard at finding another job.

Is it just me or has it been really difficult to open charge numbers?

I’ve given up and couldn’t care less anymore. I am absolutely exhausted from my job. These days my dream is to sit on the toilet in the office and take a massive steaming s**t for two hours and get paid for it. Please lay me off. I’m done with this BS.

The accounting tricks in Q1 must not have been enough. RIFs in Q2! Maybe a reorg! New boss has to make a good first impression!

Honeywell is a clown company. Layoffs and benefit cuts is all it knows.

I didn't think aero was looking at RIFs but starting to change mind.
If you don't have enough people to staff programs you can either get more people (failed) or you can start cutting products.

I'm pretty sure you're right on. I'm pretty sure this new CEO will be a lot more aggressive.

You watch your stock price increase, and higher dividends.

Couldn't agree more with this post. Its definitely some layoffs planned for AERO with revenue missing targets quarter over quarter and customers turning red over undelivered products despite the increase in demand. There will be major reshuffles in several organisations from engineering to sourcing to come out with a formula that works. Unfortunately, every re-organization that has happened over the last few years have yielded zilch. What is definite though are layoffs as a by-product from all those reshuffles. When all the re-shuffling is done and the dust settles, whats left are a bunch of pencil pushers and philosophical e-bands that prides itself of an illusionary job well done and await the following year for another reshuffle back to its original state where they started from. Less, of course, are capable individuals who either left because they were unknowingly riffed or left on their own accord for fear of being riffed. The remaining incapable sods are then bumped up with promotions to directors, snr. directors and even VP and the sh-t shows starts itself again.

Get ready for the ankle grabbing of a lifetime. With DairyA-- out and Kappy in, your jobs are getting shipped to Indyer and Chiner. They're just finalizing the plans to do so now. But, before we boot you out the door, please enjoy a furlough or two on us as a parting gift.
