@3ojv+1lWe8Oj6,
Thanks! Too funny, I was in Aero and that was the one that did that before. If no layoffs then furloughs will come. I'm in a different SBG now. But I do think that I very well just jumped from one fire to another.
I just sigh and wait for the culling to begin in earnest.
Of course not. Honeywell wants you to buy your own chair, pens and palate for the privilege of sitting in a moldy old asbestos covered office. You too can die of cancer 30 years before your time.
Aero SBG
Which SBG sent that email? I haven't seen one lately. I have in the past and it wasn't a good dign....
Why do you need office supplies when layoffs are just around the corner? One would be happy to live past one quarter at a time.
Funny that they think anyone other than the VPs assistant knows how to buy stationary or office supplies. We havent seen a new box of spiral bound notebooks since maybe 2005? Before project apple when the madness started.
I agree. Absolutely certain there is some executive nontechnical working group tasked with figuring out a corporate “AI” strategy with goals to reduce census by 25% year over year through AI. Honeywell loves nothing better than the latest buzz word.
Many will be removed as offshoring continues. A lot of terminees are older employees ... vulnerable in that many companies don't want to hire within this age bracket. Today's tech trade worker must pay heed to the fact that reaching a normal retirement age within their profession is no longer realistic.
It just means they expect us to buy it with our massive 3% raises
