Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why hasn't Auto announced the selloff yet?

All signs point to Q3 this year for when the selloff will happen, which makes it strange that it hasn't been announced yet. Is Wells really going to wait until the last minute to let everyone know?

Maybe the deal is still being finalized, and the actual transition won't happen until after Q3? I guess we'll find out. Might be a lot of folks looking for work around the holidays.

Wells has never been speedy on these things.

Sell it? That might lead to a temporary positive outcome. Charlie can't have that, he'll probably just wind it down to nothingness. Same plan as mortgage, where we are intentionally destroying a large part of the company for nothing in return.

Along the same line, when will the big sale(s) of mortgage servicing portfolio that was announced in January take place?
