Why do these roles exist? Wells already has multiple other secretarial job titles.
As much as possible I try to assume the best with people. But 95%+ of people in this role seem to do little/nothing more than sending cutesy PowerPoint slides.
I don't understand why the bank would pay for these roles when existing secretarial roles can and do the same thing for much less expense.
I've just never seen a company employ so many secretaries, especially male secretaries.

note keepers are not business analysts. Try comparing Well's job descriptions with other banks. Somebody better get their ss together. Glad I was laid off... Tired of doing everybody else's work and not getting credit for it.
I am curious with all the systems and resiliency and risk why are we still be sued and fined? Maybe it is missing the Forrest through the trees thing
My mom always told me if you can’t say anything nice don’t say it at all. But the resiliency thing is pretty humorous. I am assuming the 22 up buttons are Execution consultants that have time on this board.
Just like Senior Software Engineer. Some are amazing and others are QA analysts who got thrown into that job role and can't even Engineer a coherent sentence.
@rxr before 2016'ish I was one of those BSC's who had to constantly nag app teams to get their work done on time. Those dev teams actually asked us to do that job for them.
Now we just reject/cancel their changes if they can't get it done on time.
Efficiency FTW.
Before the title changes, I worked with BSCs who basically set up meetings and harassed the dev teams with status emails.
And before 2016ish we had a UAT team that set up duplicate meetings and did the same to track LOB testing… total waste of time.

We have Admins who are now “Business Execution Consultants”. These people were highly effective Admins, but unfortunately know very little about the business at hand. So now we have to hold their hand explaining the basics of the business to them, and they act like any previous admin duties are now beneath them.
Like others have said, there are major inconsistencies in the competencies and level of responsibility pertaining to this job title.
I know some who are very smart, hard working, and do a lot of the heavy lifting within their department. I know others with the same job title and level of seniority who do nothing but forward emails all day.
You would be surprised how many technical people in this bank can’t communicate to senior executives effectively. These roles are necessary a lot of times to bridge the gap.
The root of the problem is they got rid of titles that were more specific and made sense just to shove everyone into vague titles together when their actual jobs are entirely different.

Before spewing ignorance, pls know what you are talking about. I am one of these and am focused on business resiliency, i.e. keeping bank systems that are critical up and running. Guess that’s not too important…
