I believe 4/4 heard a few on my team have a x on their backs for position removal. Know two from a diff team cut on 3/21
So many software dev job postings with 300+ applicants on Linkedin, you are essentially competing directly with India and China there. So are finance and everything else.
I really don't know learn to code works in US today, unless you are in 20s and don't mind $50K per year.
Learn to code.

I have a work anniversary just before 4/4, which only servers as a reason to celebrate for adding another 2 weeks of severence should my turn be next.
First week of April is H-1b visa application deadline. It feels a coincidence that it sucks to be American.
Look, folks from India and China not finding a job here will still have jobs back home, because we are sending most of our jobs there. - They all have 2 choices.
How about us, what if we cannot find a job here? Where do we go?
