The atmosphere is tense, plenty of rumors about layoffs floating around. I don't think I've ever been more anxious about getting laid off. You? I tried to find a new job but I got discouraged real quick. It's tough times ahead.

No, Mufg UB IT risk in NY/NJ is at great risk of losing their jobs unless they work for 169 hours a week and have to be in the office
Mufg UB IT risk in NY/NJ I heard is safe and still remote.
So who has been told they have a role at USB?
Which departments have been given the axe?I have only seen the mortgage people, so far.
I hear the IT department in NY/NJ were giving
"All the UB employees that were told “TBD” about their future are going to get axed. "
This is not true. Yes, some will get cut but some have been getting firm offers of roles at USB. It's taking longer than originally expected, yes. And the waiting and uncertainty is painful, yes.
These mergers are always paid for with cost reductions, people are the largest single expense, I am surprised we have not seen large cuts yet. Timing is closely held secret but it has to come. My guess, notices will be immediately after the conversion.
All the UB employees that were told “TBD” about their future are going to get axed.
I know it's uncertain times but, we can only control what we can control. If it's too much to bear and for some it's understandable please, prioritize your health and wellbeing first. Maybe it's taking a leave and exploring your options outside the bank. No job is more important than your health and well being and it's affect on your family.
There are tons of good jobs. Leave u.s. bank, you won't regret it.
All then UB leaders are gone
UB people haven’t been told anything and we are 60 days from conversion.
It’s tense because conversion is literally right around the corner and they’re not informing us what will happen with our jobs. Every time you ask upper management they don’t know. So yes most are worried about the unknown.
