Uverse Transport and Reliability Center closing?

I heard a rumor that the Uverse TRC center is closing, any truth to that?

The odd thing is... they use ABF (UVERSE) TECHS FOR THE Fiber to the businesses side too... I wonder how the techs will get support after the layoff... from India ?

What do people like Stankey do when they need customer service? Have their secretary resolve it for them?
No there is no "secretary"

Yes there is a special group to handle C-suite issues, it’s The office of the President. I have received multiple Presidential complaint tickets during my career to assist that group for outside/inside issues also, assisted friend/family members of someone in the C-suite. Access has it’s privileges!

I can assure you no C-suite "leaders" has ever had to deal with "Customer Service" They have no clue what is involved. When we get a trouble ticket for a C-Suite "customer" it comes down fast, and management gets festive. When I get these tickets, wait your turn there sport. I am WOKE. (That's what we are these days) I treat every customer equally.

Seems like a race to the bottom on companies providing customer service these days. At&t can't wait to shut down all customer service locations. The current state of customer no service is absolutely horrible in the country, only to get worse. What do people like Stankey do when they need customer service? Have their secretary resolve it for them?

Yes, the UVERSE TRC is closing. All 38 techs surplussed. Our last day is 3/31.

This is true, they only told the rest of us in Central Office operations yesterday. We have to interact with a bot now. It will probably be as useless as the RCMAC bot. At least with the RCMAC bot, we can "Stankey" it (I mean fool it entirely.) (He is a media mastermind, yet fooled again) into letting us chat with real person so our issue is resolved before my shift is over.

How much did the company lose over the years with Uverse? Had to be billions. Talk about throwing money down a rathole.
