What's up with HBT?

I thought DW was doing fine and suddenly now we have another CEO. Is hbt is also again for spin off 2.0?

HBT is great. I work on average 20 hours per week. Give laser shows from thu to sun. By the time my manager logs in the US. I go to bed:)

From my perspective, the big downward slide at HBT began when they brought in someone from Aerospace that immediately reorganized engineering into centers of excellence. It was at that point that lines of business began to loose their ability to create innovative new product.

HBT is a collection of business entities who are selling legacy hardware nowadays. Since they moved all engineering to Bangalore & China the problems started. We were supposed to have access to cutting edge connected software. I haven't seen it working yet.

I am in SPS, we lost lots of talented employees because of the move to China and Mexico, however it was really funny during this transfer just how much Mexico and China do not get along. The most awkward calls I have ever been on.
This plan certainly ain't gonna work, HW have well and truly sc@wed themselves.

HBT design was butchered 2-3 years ago. Now the rest is in China where team without any long experience tried to continue. Factories in Mexico were merged. I wonder how that works now.. but I have doubts. There were many products awaiting necessary modifications due to end of life components. If these drop out, then whole system is affected and customers won't use it. Companies like Belimo are probably very happy now...
