Scott Powell's town hall on 3/21 has been postponed. Any ideas as to why?

I'll wait for the recap posted here. I've decided to stop attending any exec calls and my doctor says my health metrics have improved. I have a job to do, and these clowns in NY do nothing but get in the way. Just ignore them, you'll be happier.
It's ok, it would just be the same old cr-p anyway; nothing worth sharing. Give everybody an hour back of their time, because there are so few employees left to perform the work.

Weird that this has been quietly postponed. I mean, unless an e-mail came out we're only finding this out via Teamworks.
The Wells Fargo shitshow is never really on schedule.

Weeks for bulk of pkgs. Rollout (layoff notifications) in batches via cattle calls.
Could also be optics. The industry is taking a beating right now and if we do big layoffs (if true) in the midst of the chaos, it could spin a false narrative that we are struggling like SVB or Credit Suisse. Emotions are running high with consumers and if they panic it could trigger a run on the bank. Leaders should probably delay any scheduled displacements for a month or two until the dust settles across the industry.

Postponed bc displacement packages are taking much longer than SP wanted. His Town Hall rallying remaining troops will take place once cluster is fixed and mass layoffs have taken place.
We told him to wait to schedule TH, but he didn't want to schedule it last minute and have staff panic. He thought scheduling it far in advance would less alarming and force HR to get pkgs done faster. He should have listened to us.
scotty will have recording for the people joining or you think there will no one to join. WFC is merging with chase because they send their folks 2 years to access the bank. Worth waiting for FED actions in the coming days.

If layoffs are a factor, do you think the town hall was postponed because layoffs are postponed? Or layoffs will happen as they planned, but SP won't have his rah-rah rally until later?
