Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

!WF is heavily monitoring this site lately!

In the spirit of using this site for what it’s for: Layoffs of the third week of March is happening. And as usual, layoffs will continue, and have continued.

Also, WF is heavily monitoring and tagging entries on this site. You can just tell by the topics and posts/responses being removed, and lately the posts have been @tagged. Probably to drive/control some narrative. Too much truthful info has been revealed here lately. Just check your cookies. You’ll see ones that WF shares their data with. Use a VPN, and I’m not talking about the one you use for work. TOR or ONION Browser is best. Just sayin.

The only people from ICS who look at this site are those wondering if they are going to get laid off.

It is not even on the radar of sites to have any concern about.

For sure there are cyber/infosec folks who look for insider threats and/or work on DLP, and it stands to reason this site among many others comes up for many corporations. Nothing new there.

WF should worry about their brand rather than what’s posted here.

Sorry to tell you this, even if WF wanted to track all the stuff on here they couldn’t, they lack the skill set to pull of something like that, at best someone from CTI is pressing the refresh button over and over looking for something to report.

@1jhe+1lDbbTqm This is the correct answer. They don’t care what employees think…. At all.

Now hurry up, get in traffic and get in your cubicle to work with your team in a different city.

First issue is that you think they care enough about employees to read any layoff postings

How, exactly, is WF matching posts made from a home PC on this site to your home IP address?

Don't visit this site from your work systems or on the company VPN. Shouldn't need to say that.

Read the Terms of Service before you assume something was deleted by WF, there are rules about using names, etc., and entire posts have been deleted because the topic got too heated and people started breaking the TOS rules.

I have no idea if WF has anything to do with posts/comments getting deleted, but I doubt it, and in the past when people complained about something getting deleted it was usually for TOS violations.

Good luck everyone.

I've seen worse posted on internal Teams/Skype than here. How else can you survive the workday if you can't complain to your team about every injustice?

If you aren't in a sensitive leadership position, and as long as you aren't posting anything here that is verbatim classified as internal, confidential or restricted data, tin hat is optional.

VPN use is good though, whoooooooops is mine on?

Yawn. I wonder what they’re scared of. Anyone can post here, you don’t even need to work here.

Hoping they are reading and taking it to heart. In over 20 years, never seen such poor leadership decisions, incl. across the board RTO, mass offshoring and utter lack of transparency. Treating employees like dirt does have consequences. Most won’t outright quit though, will just work down to what they believe is fair. Voluntary severance would go a long way in cleaning things up.
