The one thing that struck me about VK when he was running PMT was how fearful his staff was of him. Every word on every PowerPoint slide had to be vetted to avoid setting him off.

So glad to be out.

Imagine if VK is to DA, as DA was to DC!
Ok, ok, DA was probably as bad as it could get. Maybe.

So Vimal Kapur and George Koutsaftes both are from PMT. Those LOBs have been decimated. GK is up to his same old song and dance in SPS now. RIF, furlough, drive people out. VK did the same exact thing at PMT. I think the writing is on the wall for everyone left. Jump before you are pushed@!

Glad to see DA and his $500 bottles of wine go out the door. With his first "Town Hall" meeting he lost half the company with that (completely out of touch) wine story. What an id--t. He made my last 3 years a living he-l. My boss played along (I'm sure he had no choice)...but he flushed his dignity down the cr----r. I got out at age 62 (34 years in) with a covid layoff.

great news though that DA will continue to 'serve' as exec chairman (oops chairperson)
and at only $ 1.3 mill base salary.

work harder now

Hmm, and the HBT pres reflects diversity.

I got it. Quiet quitting is now my standard. Especially with more products being transitioned to Mexico.

Won't give me a package? I'm giving myself a package.

Does VK count as EM labor census and will his salary be at HTS rate equivalent?

DA has done a lot for HON, i.e. a lot of damage. He was instrumental in many of the most un-popular culture changes at HON. From his time at HPS, he has yelled and threatened subordinates. Hates remote work for US employees only. When moving from MP to CLT he negotiated diversity quotas for tax breaks (HON is the only company I know that has agreed to diversity quotas, AMZN clearly refused). HON was the only company that asked which religion you belong to and what are its practices while vetting exemptions for the vaccine mandate. Furloughs, RIF's, PIP's unrelated to performance, pay reductions etc. have become regular features at HON under DA

Offshoring has been going forward quite efficiently.

Now, the question I have us what will be divested/spun off first? An SPG like SPS? A product line in Aero?

And, for me personally, will they ask for volunteers for RIFs?

I figure a new CEO needs to put his stamp on something.

You have to hand it to the auguries on this site - they had it first! Congratulations to the prognosticators who told us very clearly months ago that this was coming (you know who you are) - you were bang-on right! One person noticed the "tell" that DA wasn't wearing a suit when he was last on with Jim Cramer, and that DA had been noticeably disengaged from the business recently. So what did DA really accomplish? He moved the HQs to sh-t hole Charlotte so employees can get panhandled a few times a day and mugged once or twice a year, and that's about it.

I havent worked for VK. Is he a leader from honeywell "know it all" culture or a leader like satya nadella who refuses to tolerate negative emotion in meetings and values learning and curiosity above all? Is he american capitalist or indian buddist?
Mad dog will be a good tell. If he leaves then i will applaud.
Indian born leaders dominate the board room these days.

What a joke. HoneyHell continues down the drain. DC,DA now VK. They rake in millions while they continue to ruin the company, and the employees livelihood with their decisions.

Stock up 40% during his tenure. S&P up 45% over same time period. Creating shareholder value.

Not sorry one bit to see DA go and I truly hope the door hits him in the preverbal keeester on his way out. His successor choice is very unfortunate. The rush to low cost labor will only increase exponentially…
