Are they seriously going to force DPT contractors to RTO for Charlotte? I heard there’s spacing issues/construction still pending for an office near the Gateway Center? How do they even pick criteria for this (eg what if a contractor only has 3 months left versus new signings)

Everyone is RTO including contractors. I heard of employees converting to contractor during COVID just so they could avoid the RTO. They recently left the Bank,
Eventually yes, when there’s space renovated to fit all of them, but not this batch who were hired with the pretense of remote. Because new contractors who sign would presumably already be in the area and wouldn’t have to move their entire life just for a few months
If FTEs need to be in the office so should contractors.
I feel like associates actually have a future at the bank and employed long term, and if anything happens to them they get severance. Contractors can be let go at any point and have variation on their contract length, other than relying on good faith to be converted to FTE, they’re taking a risk out of their own pocket and future prospects to come in if they were hired under the circumstances of being WFH. I do agree the policy should be applied to future contractors hired once the office is ready
Why do contractors get to stay home and employees have to come in? It’s not fair.
Why can’t they just leave contractors alone? Who wants to uproot their life and change the circumstances they were hired for over a contract lol
DPT = ZSidi?
I heard some news about that this week thought it was a bold move. Can't wait to see how they roll that out.
