BP is an oil company that dont want to produce oil. I worked at BP mid-career and left just before Macondo, and glad I did. After BP bought Amoco, the Amoco people took over in GOM and ruined it. BP before Amoco was a great company, very safe, and gave employees many opportunities. Tony Hayward destroyed BP.

BP will start shedding assets, but the British government will never approve sale of the whole. Closer to home, is Chevron going the same thing with exploration money disappearing in share buybacks?

BP is a t-u-r-d. Someone will buy them but doubt it will be us. Their assets suck.
