Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

When are we getting rid of middle management?

I think every employee in the company knows, other than the C-suite of course, that the most corrupt and broken part of Bank of America is its middle management. They are basically a black ho-e where all communication between the leaders and the talent vanish and where intelligence is replaced with selfish unearned ego. Removing middle management will save this bank from the upcoming financial depression due to the 1000% increase in productivity, while tripling the flexibility and adaptability that’s been lost due to this convoluted decades-long game of telephone.

Another broken part is that many of us report to a manager at another site or many in another country. The UK, India, etc. 5 -10 hours time difference and almost no contact on a regular basis. But we need to be in the office to "collaborate ".

Any business the size of Bank of America needs executive, mid level and low level management. You can't run a corporation this size with only executives and front liners. That said, the poster below nailed it - what we need to competent managers and employees.

The overwhelming problem is not about having middle management, it is about having unqualified, self serving, unmanaged and incompetent charlatans in middle management.
