I heard one biz unit had layoffs 2 weeks ago and they’re looking for 10% reduction across the board.
Can anybody confirm this?

This was my post. Coming back to confirm I didn’t mean 10% per biz unit. 10% across ss&c. Just to clarify. Anyone have updates on the biz units? I know they’re coming to Advent. Just don’t know where. Intralinks was in Jan. I heard GIDS hit now also.
Good luck with Blue Prism - promises promises... most large clients have switched to UIPath for a reason.
Just had two senior works in my group laidoff. My tiny group had 5 people were down to 4, many more coming.
The 10% is a required reduction with the implementation of Blue Prism. This was announced in 3rd Q 2022 Earnings release. It will primarily affect FTE in BPO areas (assumption based on the implementation of BP). Automation is almost required for survival for large organizations, so SS&C isn’t alone and most likely ahead of the game.
My department had layoffs last month. Don't have the exact numbers but I'd estimate that in a department of roughly 50 about 10-15 got laid off. In most cases, it was the more senior people. Don't know if there will be another round. I'm sending out resumes anyway.
I don't think across the board. At least in our unit, maybe 2-5%
I'm asking about the "10%" part.
