Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Retired in 2022, just received my retirement gift...

Which included a very nice framed certificate from Stinky for my many decades of service to Toxic-T. The frame was actually very, very nice. And boxed very elegantly.

I remove John's certificate of appreciation from the frame, and went into my fortress of solitude to take a nice big dump. Certificate served very well as toilet paper! Flushed John's Hancock down the toilet in my appreciation for Stinky and Ratty destroying T and all the misery they cause and are causing all while collecting tens of millions for their rotten work.

BTW - I do not miss Toxic-T and their BS. Still waiting for them to pay the lump. Perhaps the pension fund is tapped out and John and sell some core business off for another shiny nickle?

“ ffs why are you still here....get out of here and enjoy life and let the rest of us bi--h about still having to work for a living.”

Typical millennial response… get out of your parents basement.

I retired 12/30 after 44 years. I would have stayed but I wasn’t going to lose pension money. Also waiting for the information about my medical insurance and when I called them they said there is an error
On my account

Child, but a dangerous one because you are in an adult body.

Retired 12/30/22 after 36 years. Miss the people I worked with. Would have stayed but the interest rates would have reduced my lump sum by ~23%. Per Fidelity, check should be deposited on 1/16. I appreciate the career and hope things turn for the better.

Is ATT in the toilet? Yes! Mismanaged? Grossly! But very grateful for a lifetime of employment that made a good living for my family. Great 401k, pension, health benefits, just to many good things to ever write something like this. Proud to display my retirement plague and wear my retirement ring….because it’s as much as about what I gave, as what they gave! 42 years of service!

I retired last year and I agree that management sucks, but I really enjoyed the people I worked with. Wonderful folks. Then a month after retiring I got my pension check. Wow, so grateful. I was really lucky to work for the company when they had a pension. I think it must be a lot harder to work for the T now.
